Let. Me. Speak!

We invite parents to join us to hear from the youth within our community. This is a judgment free zone, with the goal of letting our youth SPEAK! freely with the assistance of our youth panel. Which will be there to start the conversation.

What should I expect?

  • Guest Speakers
  • Panel of Peers
  • Open Forum
  • Live Performances from the youth within the DMV.
  • Vendors plus Giveaways

Who should attend?

All youth between 8 and 18 years of age.

Should parents attend?

Absolutely! We feel that it is detrimental to the well being of our youth for us as parents to begin to listen to our children and to allow them to freely speak on the matters that they are facing on a daily basis. Parents will be ask to reinframe from speaking. It is our hope that parents will come ready to listen and learn from all of the youth that will be in attendance.

Will there be counselors and support personnel available during the event?

Yes, it is our goal to have professional counselors available at all times during this event to assist our young people and parents.
